The 5 Pages Every Service Business Website Needs

By Mir Fatin Jan 15, 2025 4 min read

Most service businesses suffer from "bloat." They think that more pages equals more authority. In reality, it just equals more confusion.

If you want a website that actually converts strangers into discovery calls, you only need five core pages. Each has a specific psychological job to do.

1. The Home Page (The Grand Entrance)

Your home page isn't about you. It's about your client's desires. Success happens when a visitor feels "This person understands my problem."

2. The Services Page (The Solution)

Don't just list features. List outcomes. Instead of saying "I build websites," say "I build high-converting sales funnels that land 2x more clients."

3. The Work/Case Studies Page (The Proof)

Evidence is the currency of trust. Show the data, the before-and-after, and the direct business impact of your work.

4. The About Page (The Architect)

This is where you build personal connection. Share your "why" and your philosophy. People buy from people they trust.

5. The Contact Page (The Conversion)

Keep it frictionless. One clear action: booking a call or sending an enquiry.

"A beautiful website that doesn't convert isn't an asset; it's an expense."

If your current site has 12 pages, it's time to audit. Less is more. Strategy is everything.
